Eyebrow Wax

This treatment is the most popular short-term hair removal technique.

We use hot wax for eyebrow waxing due to it’s amazing ability to remove stubborn hair as short as 1mm.

The brow area is cleansed and then measured to each individuals face shape to determine the correct shape brow which is marked out with a brow pencil. The wax is then carefully applied to the unwanted hairs using a spatula, it is left to dry and is then removed.

The eyebrows are then brushed and trimmed and if needed plucked using tweezers for definition of shape.

Eyebrow & Eyelash Tinting

​

This treatment adds colour to your eyelashes and/or your eyebrows. The hairs can not be made lighter, they can only be made darker with this treatment.

For an eyelash tint the eyelashes are cleansed and petroleum jelly applied around the eye area to protect the skin and to prevent any staining. The tint is carefully applied to the lashes and left on for several minutes until the colour has taken. The tint is removed and you are able to wear make-up as required. 

The same process is carried out for an eyebrow tint.

A patch test is required at least 24/48 hours prior to having a tint treatment.

This is very important to ensure that you do not have an allergic reaction to the product.  Without the patch test, the treatment cannot go ahead.

Aftercare

​

It is important to follow after care advice especially for the first 24 hours to avoid any irritation.

​

• Do not apply any perfumed products to the area treated for up to 24 hours.

• Avoid hot steam from saunas, swimming pools, showers and Jacuzzis for 24 hours.

• Do not use sunbeds & avoid sunbathing for 24 hours.

• Do not apply tanning products over the treated area for 24 hours.

• Continue with after wax lotion on any red or irritated areas if needed.

• Please book in for your next appointment for anything between 3-6 weeks time depending on each individual.
